The clients needed extra storage since their garden shed didn't provide enough space. Since their side passage wasn't much use to them, the solution was to convert it into a roofed storage space, with shelving.
We installed a timberframe roof with 16 mm multiwall polycarbonate and aluminum joining profiles. Wall nibs and doors were installed at either end to ensure security.
Guttering along the boundary wall and a downpipe channel the rainwater from the roof.
The 1.4m width of the side passage means that deep shelving can fit along the boundary wall without obstructing access to the garden along the side of the house. .
