The homeowner has a motorcycle and parked it most of the time on his driveway, so he wanted to turn his property's standard side-passage into a rain shelter for the motorcycle.

• It was easy enough to convert half of his side passage into a proper rain shelter.
• We replaced the front gate with a stronger key lock.
• The roof was created out of timber rafters, 16mm multiwall polycarbonate and white aluminium fitting bars.
• We closed the gap between the gate and roof to give better privacy and security.
• We applied two coats of decking oil to all the timber.
• An eco-drain channel and guttering were installed to take all rainwater.
