Allan had lots of boxes and baskets at the back of his house but nowhere to stack them neatly. Lots of things but nowhere to store them! He also wanted a worktop to use for preparing food and drink when entertaining in the garden or having a barbecue.

• We made a two-shelf unit with a worktop on top to fit under the kitchen window.
• Eight wicker baskets were bought to slide onto the shelves, allowing for easy organization of a variety of items.
